We are seeking a couple of dynamic and enthusiastic project co-ordinators to join our operations team to help manage our clients and projects.
*cough* No recruiters, thanks. We know you are probably all lovely people but we’ll contact you if we need you. By sending us any potential candidates, you agree to waiver any fees, these terms supersede your own.
The positions are full time but we're happy to consider part time for the right candidate, no previous experience is required, however an understanding of the web and design agency would be advantageous
As an integral part of the operations team you will be involved with connecting clients to staff and ensuring that the team have all the information they need when they need it.
You will report directly to the Head of Operations, there will be plenty of opportunities to progress and influence our growth.
Who we are.
Established in 2006, we’ve built a reputation for consistently delivering high quality work and maintain a high client retention and recommendation rate. We have built a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from start-ups through to multi-national companies, working on a variety of projects including; branding, design, websites, bespoke software, mobile apps, games and so much more.
We offer excellent benefits, with great professional development in a fast-paced but informal and collaborative environment, making it an exciting place to build your career. Do you hate Mondays? We don’t. Our flexitime allows us to start work at 11 if we want!
2019 is already an exciting year for us. We’ve got a whole bunch of interesting projects to get stuck in to and you can be a part of helping us grow even further.
What we're not.
We're not going to try to sell you this job based on buzzwords, and bullsh#t. We know you don't care how unique we are, or how many boundaries we're pushing, we're not trying to save the world and we won't try and tell you different.
You won't need those noise cancelling headphones to drown out the office noise as our office is spread over 2 floors, is open plan and both floors enjoy access to their own Spotify account where all team members are encouraged to showcase their musical loves, so dust off that acid trance mix, 80's pop list, or that guilty pleasure playlist featuring Aqua, Steps, and Atomic Kitten and you’ll fit right in.
You'll never be asked to sacrifice the important things in life because you're chained to your desk till all hours. Got kids? you'll never have to miss reading a bed time story. Budding Rockstar with a gig at the weekend? No danger - You'll be waist deep in groupies by sundown!
We get together for company sponsored social events, we've done Escape Rooms, we've had a weekend in Dublin, had a night at the dogs and we've spent a weekend at The British Touring Car Championship at Silverstone, (we've also sank quite a few beers along the way) but if anything’s not your idea of fun then you’re able to decline our invitations.
Who you are.
For us the ideal candidate has the right personality and drive, you may not have any experience, you may be new to the industry, but you make up for those shortfalls by being passionate, driven and above all willing to learn - this is very important.
We do however expect you to have an opinion, and the courage to share it. We want people with ideas about best practices and to help us all learn & grow.
Above all we want someone who cares about the role they're undertaking, and understands that working at Prototype takes a particular type of person.
What we're looking for.
Someone with fantastic problem solving abilities, who is organised, can take the initiative and isn't afraid to speak up and be heard yet knows when to listen.
Problem solving is an important part of the job, while you don't need to know what WYSIWYG stands for how pixel perfect layouts work, you do need to be able to solve problems by getting to the heart of the issue without necessarily understanding everything about it.
You'll need to be very organised, we are a busy company and you'll be responsible for making sure that the projects you're looking after are kept up to date, the team know what's required of them and any information we need is available when needed to ensure there are no backlogs.
Working on your own initiative will be important, we will provide as much guidance and support as you need but you will be expected to pick up a project and run with it making sure you anticipate as many potential issues as possible.
Excellent communication skills are a must, more often than not, you will be the main point of contact for our clients and will need to get to the bottom of what they need not just what they ask for!
You will need to understand how important the different types of deadlines are and how they all impact one another.
